Quote
"He is dead," said Boxer sorrowfully. "I had no intention of doing that. I forgot that I was wearing iron shoes. Who will believe that I did not do this on purpose?" (4.10) Why is this quote important to the theme of Violence? Its important because viloence is violence no matter what. Even if it wasnt on purpose its still considered violence, its an act of wrong doing. This quote shows that even though he did not mean to commit this act of violence and that he was sorry for what he did, the animals still found it wrong and will most likely shun him for his acts.
Theme of Pride
In Animal Farm, pride serves to unite the animals as a common group; in this way it is something akin to camaraderie. The animals take pride in banding together to overthrow their oppressive leader, and their communal feeling benefits everyone. Yet Napoleon, himself an extremely vain pig, quickly learns how to use the animals’ pride as a tool of manipulation. They are also so proud of their animal-run farm that they are blind to the fact that it is failing and corrupt.
· Is pride beneficial or harmful to the animals? For the pigs? For the humans? Pride is beneficial to the animals because for them having pride is something good. They want to be have control and want to rule there own place, there fore they dont let anyone or anything get in their way. Their pride helps them stay strong and be independent as individuels and as a whole.
What do the pigs feel proud of as compared to what the other animals feel proud of? There proud of the fact that they took over the farm, where as the other animals are proud because they finally have freedom. The pigs are greedy and want power and sence they got it their proud of that, the other animals are simply happy for the little things.

ANIMAL FARM PROJECT.
a windmill is an engine powered by the wind to produce energy, often contained in a large building as in traditional post mills, smock mills and tower mills. The energy windmills produce can be used in many ways, traditionally for grinding grain or spices, pumping water, sawing wood or hammering seeds. Modern wind power machines are used for generating electricity and are more properly called wind turbines. Windmills have been around for at least 1,300 years. The first windmills have vertical shafts and were reportedly built in Persia around the 7th century AD. Made of six to twelve sails covered in fabric or palm leaves, they were used to grind corn and draw up water. A similar type of vertical shaft windmill can also be found in 13th century China.
The multi-bladed wind turbine atop lattice tower made of wood or steel was, for many years, a fixture of the landscape throughout rural America. These mills, made by a variety of manufactures, featured a large number of blades so that they would turn slowly but with considerable torque in low winds and be self regulating in high winds. A tower-top gearbox and crank shift converted the rotary motion into reciprocating strokes carried downward through a pole to the pump cylinder.
Windmills and related equipment are still manufactured and installed today on farms and ranches, usually in remote parts of the western United States where electric power is not readily available. The arrival of electricity in rural areas, brought by the the Rural Electrification Administration in the 1930's through the 19950's, contributed to the decline in the use of windmills in the US. Today, the increase in energy prices and the expense of replacing electric pumps has led to an increase in the repair, restoration and installation of new windmills.
